CLT Mock Evaluation and Self Assessment I
Prerequisite: CLT Skills Development III
This course provides students the opportunity to scrutinize models of appropriate and improvable transliteration. Students are guided through the analysis process for a variety of transliterating tasks, view various transliterating models and note the strengths and shortcomings in the models' renditions. Each student will also take a mock performance assessment and have the opportunity to analyze their own work on the basis of prior discussion and practice.
CLT Self Assessment II: Spoken to Cued
Prerequisite: CLT Mock Evaluation and Self Assessment I
This module provides an opportunity for cued language transliterators to conduct an in-depth analysis of their spoken English to cued English transliteration skills. Specific skill areas will be targeted, discussed and analyzed using a videotaped sample of the transliterator's work. Instructors will provide feedback and assist in the self analysis process.
CLT Self Assessment II: Cued to Spoken
Prerequisite: CLT Mock Evaluation and Self Assessment I
This module provides an opportunity for cued language transliterators to analyze their cued English to spoken English transliteration skills. Specific skill areas will be targeted, discussed, and analyzed using a videotaped sample of the transliterator's work. Instructors will provide feedback and assist in the self analysis process.
